Product Reviews
These Cliff brand jacks are the best!
Nice, simple jack
I like these a lot. They are easy to install and my cable fits secure with ease. I originally wanted the metal nut style cliff jacks, I mean they look cool and they are authentic, but not for me, frankly I think they are over rated. I have several reasons for going with the plastic after my experience with the metal ones. I wouldn't have thought that, but that's how it worked out for me. As far as keeping my JMP original I do. I wouldn't alter anything I couldn't put back, but plugging in your guitar cable is not like changing specs on the circuit or doing some weird mod. I don't think Vintage Marshalls need mods, they need turned up and if you have the right stuff hitting the front end of your amp you will be glad it's all original.
I wish they made these in the same style as the metal nut jacks. I only buy these when I am making stereo cabs. They work, but the metal nuts have a much cleaner, and less cheap finish.
