Pretty nice overall however there are many wire brush marks that were plated over that should have been removed before plating.
I had to drill a few holes in it and enlarge a few as well and had no problem with the plating flaking off as some others have noted. Perhaps it was due to their methods for drilling the holes.
I used a unibit step drill to enlarge a few holes and had no problem! small holes were started with a 3/32" split point bit and them enlarged to 1/8" before using the smallest unibit which cuts in increments of 1/32"

Very well made, very sturdy. The only problem to be aware is the 8 pin Belton Micalex tube socket was too big to fit the pre drilled chassis hole. It was easily enlarged with a step bit.

Solid chassis but I am a little disappointed in the chrome job. Especially on the control panel.....the most visible part. The metal has a brushed finish underneath that has been chromed over leaving a shiny textured looking finish....not smooth. I should have returned it....too late now it’s all assembled....my bad?

Very well made !
The Belden 8 pin sockets are too big for it ! I had to ream out the whole a bit to get them to seat in properly. other than that its very stout and will outlive me and probably my kids too.

This chassis is built well. It has nice graphics, I purchased a turret board and the stand offs were matched to the pre drilled holes. I installed this in an original wide panel tweed cabinet in need of a chassis. I made a 5d3 circuit so some mods were to be expected. The mounting holes to attach the chassis to the cabinet needed a bit of filing to match the cabinet holes. Perhaps a narrow panel cabinet would have fit without filing, but not a problem.
My one complaint was the power cord hole. It was round instead of having two flat sides to fit the strain relief clamp. I used a large diameter power cord and that allowed the strain relief to somewhat snug up. Use a cable clamp to attach the cord to the side of the cabinet for further safety.

About the same quality as the Chinese import I purchased elsewhere for less. Octal and 9-pin holes do not fit the tube sockets they sell. Chrome finish is not high quality.

Worked fine for my amp project, the power tube sockets were too small for Belton 8 pin sockets that I had from a parts kit. It was my first amp project so I didn’t know what to look for. The standby and power switch holes didn’t have a notch like chassis I’ve sent listed from other vendors but it works.
